Hledáme řemeslníka
A marketplace for tradespeople and households, built to commission.
Context
Anyone who's used these marketplaces has probably spotted their flaws. One tradesperson reckoned he could do it better - and, as it happens, he came to me. Together we're now working out whether we can carve out a spot in the market, among the old players and a whole pile of new ones.
What I did
I built the portal from the ground up - on my own, except for the graphics, which are Teo Hroza's. The core idea is simple: pairing tradespeople with the people who want their services. On top of that there's writing references, request approval with an automatic AI check (the admin only rules on the disputed cases, though he keeps a veto), an email notification system and plenty of other nice touches.
Where it stands
The MVP is done and we're getting it ready to launch. It has solid test coverage so it holds up as we keep building - which we're arranging and prepping right now. Whether it makes it on the market is still open, but I'm hoping we get to grow it for a long time to come.
